Addiction Services of Thames Valley is a community based service. Our agency operates in co-operation with local addiction and health care agencies, through the Southwest Local Health Integration Network.

There are eight programs that are operated by ADSTV. All programs are staffed with professionally trained counsellors. Some programs have eligibility criteria but there are no restrictions related to age or gender - youth, adults and seniors are welcome. Please see program descriptions for a full discussion of eligibility criteria.
* The Substance Abuse program is designed to assess the nature and severity of a persons substance use.
* Problem Gambling Services provides assessment and counseling for persons concerned about their own gambling or someone else's gambling.
* The Heartspace program accepts women who are involved with substance use and who are pregnant and/or parenting children 0-6.
* The Fresh Start program is an employment initiative to facilitate Ontario Works participants in removing barriers to assist in their return to the work force.
* The Back on Track program offers education and or treatment to convicted impaired drivers.
* The London CAReS program is an integrated strategy to address the needs of individuals living with the effects of poverty, homelessness, addiction and mental illness in the communities in which they live.
* The Pier project is designed to create safe, open dialogue between youth, families, and communities about illicit drug use by youth.
* Supportive Housing for Addictions is a program that offers housing opportunities as a part of addiction treatment planning. Participants who meet eligibility criteria can move into supported units in a therapeutic environment and attend programming that assists them with developing the life skills to obtain their own permanent housing and maintain it for the long term.

The agency is incorporated and responsible to a voluntary Board Of Directors. The Directors are elected from a cross section of human service organizations, businesses and the three counties of Thames Valley in South Western Ontario.

In addition ADSTV has a Foundation Board and this group of volunteers works to fundraise and generate revenue to support programs and services that require funding.
